Via 3L Announces Changes in Top Management
Via 3L, the leading logistics company in the Baltics, announces a change in its top management. CEO Urmas Uudemets, who has served as the company for the past five years, will step down during the month of June. To ensure that day-to-day management and ongoing processes continue without interruption, Uudemets will remain with the company in an advisory capacity until the end of summer.
Until a new head for the Estonian market is appointed, Raimonds Krampāns will take the helm of Via 3L. He is the Head of the Group’s Logistics Business Unit, who simultaneously manages Via 3L’s Latvian operations and has successfully led the development and transformation of the 3PL business there over recent years. Krampāns will manage the local business in close cooperation with Via 3L Estonia’s existing management team and the group’s key department heads.
The company confirms that daily operations will continue in their usual rhythm—all current services will function as normal, and the changes will not affect customer or partner relationships. During the transition period, the main responsibility will be carried by Via 3L Estonia’s experienced local management team.
“The Via 3L Estonia team knows its customers, services, and the local market inside out. Together with our Baltic colleagues and the group’s support, we will keep daily operations running smoothly and guarantee our customers the exact same reliable service as before,” said Raimonds Krampāns, Head of the Group’s Logistics Business Unit.
“Our next goal is to leverage our shared pan-Baltic experience. We want to refresh our services, refine our work processes, and support our team to keep the bar high,” Krampāns added regarding the future outlook.
Via 3L thanks Urmas Uudemets for his work. According to Meelis Saaresaalu, partner at JNG Investments OÜ, Uudemets’ five-year tenure coincided with a time when the entire logistics sector had to grapple with complex crises.
“We thank Urmas for his dedicated work and commitment. His leadership spanned a period when the logistics world underwent major and unpredictable changes, and we highly value his contribution to the company’s stability and development. We wish him great success in his future challenges,” said Saaresalu.
Outgoing CEO Urmas Uudemets looks back on his time with the company with gratitude:
“It has been an honor to work with the excellent team at Via 3L. I sincerely thank all my colleagues, customers, and partners for their trust and for our shared journey, and I wish the company great momentum and success in its new developments.”
