Via 3L has an international freight forwarding division handling door-to-door transport by road, sea and air. Denmark is one of our busiest and most established directions – we run freight shipments between Tallinn and Denmark every working day, quickly and cost-effectively.
The road from Estonia to Denmark usually runs through Germany, where the truck crosses the sea by ferry on the Rostock–Gedser or Puttgarden–Rødby line before reaching Copenhagen or Denmark’s northern ports. Copenhagen is one of the largest and most important port cities in Denmark and Northern Europe, while Aarhus is the country’s second-largest cargo port, handling a large share of Danish agricultural exports.
Denmark’s economy relies heavily on exports, which make up close to 70% of its GDP. Cargo we regularly move on this route includes goods from Denmark’s pharmaceutical and wind-energy industries, as well as agricultural and food products such as pork and dairy. For these shipments we use full and part loads as well as 45′ HC PW containers for oversized cargo (such as wind-turbine components), ADR transport for dangerous goods, and temperature-controlled transport for sensitive cargo.
