Let’s get acquainted
Via 3L has an international freight forwarding division, taking care of your cargo door-to-door by road, sea and air. The Netherlands is one of our busiest and fastest-growing destinations in Western Europe: we run daily departures between Estonia and the Netherlands for full loads, plus scheduled part-load services, so your goods move quickly and predictably.
Rotterdam is Europe’s largest port and one of the world’s leading logistics hubs, handling around 400 million tonnes of cargo a year with direct connections to more than 1,000 ports worldwide. Thanks to its location and dense road, rail and inland-waterway network, the Netherlands is often called the “Gateway to Europe” — within a single day’s drive it reaches over half a billion European consumers, which is why so many companies use it as their main warehousing and distribution base for the continent.
By road, Tallinn to Rotterdam or Amsterdam is roughly 2,100 kilometres, and a full-load shipment typically takes two to three days depending on the route and border crossings. Trade between Estonia and the Netherlands has grown steadily over the years: Estonia mainly exports wood and wood products and electronics, while imports from the Netherlands include chemical products, machinery and foodstuffs. That kind of steady flow calls for a reliable, flexible transport partner.
On this route, Via 3L offers full and part loads, 45′ HC PW (extra-height, extra-width) containers, ADR transport for dangerous goods, and temperature-controlled shipments. We use our own trailers as well as partner fleets across Europe, and our container and air-freight division arranges FCL/LCL shipments in 20′ and 40′ containers. Customs documentation and cargo insurance are handled as part of the service, so you can focus on your business.
We have helped more than a thousand customers ship their goods to 75 countries — and the Netherlands remains one of the destinations our trucks travel to most often, week after week.
